This just in...
A little thing I wrote for The Miramichi Reader went live in July

I began my life as an ordained minister in rural New Brunswick, serving little churches in small communities on the Miramichi River.
One of the stories I fictionalized for The Book of Answers, and made come out much funnier than it was in real life, happened in the manse, the church provided house that came with the posting.
My wife and I drove through the area a few summers ago, and I noticed that the manse is gone, as are many of the folks I met and came to know there more than 3 decades ago.
There is something satsifying about having been given space in the Miramichi Reader, to discuss why I wrote my book.
The Miramichi Reader has long been one of my favourite sources for reviews and views of what’s happening in the world of Canadian writing- even before they ran my piece.
Fun to see you connections to that very particular place ... one I had never heard of, and it was great to be combined with the other writers.
