Never read Lee Child. Read all of Karen Slaughter. Never see film productions of anything I have already read. I live Will Trent and highly recommend reading the series!
I read Tryptych this week, and have also been listening to a novella called Busted, which is part of the series. I have two questions about the series, that maybe you can answer! 1) What's the best one? 2) Is it important to read them in order? I get a lot of my books from our county's online library, and it's usually a matter of getting what's there to get.
I also use the library a great deal, so I understand the dilemma. However, I also prefer to read any series in order. Each can be enjoyed on its own, but you really miss the character development, which I think is especially important in this series.
Is that Devil in a Blue Dress? Walter Mosley is a wonderful writer. He's applied his gifts, and wide ranging curiousity to a number of genres. My current favourite of his is a book about writing called "This year you write your novel".

What are you reading now? I am always looking for suggestions.
I’ve just requested the first Walter Mosley book. I’ve never read his books(having mostly supported authors). I’m looking forward reading these.
