This passage is so good. I especially liked:

“I think that before Hope knew, she lived in a beautiful bubble. There was just now. It felt like every moment with her was forever. No worries about what came before or what would need to happen next.”

It reminds me a lot of how it is with my daughter, too. Childhood is the most profound, bittersweet thing there is, you know?

Dear Taegan; I was hoping you'd relate to that excerpt from the book. It was what I thought about when I watched "Dada". The childhoods of my kids went by so fast, it feels to me. I look now at pictures from that time, and part of me is right back in those memories, and it feels impossible to me that those moments are places I can't just go to, like walking upstairs for a snack when I need a break from writing!
