I love the idea of a series based on the alphabet! I started the series, then got distracted by a couple of other authors and then, of course, moving. Now I am delving into a more focused Substack practice. But I really enjoy your accounts of Sue Grafton's series. I guess i just feel more connected to those i follow on Substack...and sad to say the political circus. Thanks.
These would be similar to books by Janet Evanovich…her Stephanie Plum series had numbers in each title. They were all mysteries but written in a humorous way.
Ah yes ... there is so much distraction reading ... a new book on a series, OK (admitting a level of addiction) three book clubs a month ... very different sets of people.
Congratulations. I made it through around a dozen.
I think I must have read most of them when they first came out. Reading them now, it's like a master class in planning a series.
Yes agreed. I liked her too. Her hooker sidekick as well

I read quite a few of the Stephanie Plum series. My favourite character was her grandmother.
I only made it to Q when I read them ... I became attached to some other writers. I am loving your comments on her ongoing work.
Thanks Maren! I am 2/3 through. I have read a lot of other things along the way.
