I am still learning my way around Substack, which is the platform that launches the reluctant sleuth newsletter emails into the world. Apparently, there is now a way for a substack creator to create a “special offer” that allows them to lower the price of a monthly paid subscription to something less than the “official minimum”.
So I’m wondering… would that be of interest to folks who have already signed on for $5 a month? Would a lower rate attract more paid subscribers?
The other bit of news is that I’ve just about finished the Kindle version of The Book of Answers, and I’m working on the paperback edition, which would also be available through Amazon. I will of course continue to serialize the book, but enough people have asked if they can “just buy the whole thing at once” that I’m going to make that possible.
Hi Darrow; I'd rather the whole book either Kindle or paperback, but I find Kindle more convenient right now. Our bookshelves are bursting!
Be well and keep on writing.
I would like to have it all, yes, and I would rather receive free ... both answering the issue that when I have really long work days, I let elective social media go to be with family, so I am an occasional reader.
